HAPPY WINEMAKER HOUR this WEDNESDAY, Nov. 7th - 3 iconic Loire vigneron(ne)s: Sylvie Augereau, Nicolas Réau, Bertrand Jousset

Wednesday, 7th of November we are super excited to welcome behind the bar some icons of the natural wine world : Sylvie Augereau, Nicolas Réau and Bertrand Jousset. All from the greatest wine region in the world, the Loire! Presenting for the first time her wines in the US, Sylvie is probably more known for her amazing work with La Dive Bouteille, the natural wine fair, she has done with maestria for years. She is also a super talented writer and journalist with benchmark books under her belt! But she is also a vigneronne gardening old vines between Angers and Saumur, including some chenin and cabernet franc we will be lucky to taste tomorrow night! Nicolas Réau has also been producing gems in his Clos des Treilles (a little south of Sylvie) that he converted to organic farming to produce natural wines since 2002. Not as recognized as he should be here in the US, you don't want to miss the opportunity to discover delicious and age worthy wines from Anjou! And finally, Bertrand Jousset, who with his wife Lise, is part of the amazing revolution of chenin in Montlouis-sur-Loire, bringing a fantastic dynamic of soulful farming and winemaking to this part of the region. Bertrand & Lise's talent is shown in the wide variety of wines they produce, from bubbles to still dry and off-dry, especially from a beautiful plot of vines called "Clos aux Renards".
